Short Answer
The Team Analytics Dashboard gives sales managers a data-driven view into their team's practice activity, scenario breakdown, skill trends over time, and collective skill gaps. It replaces guesswork with objective data so managers can coach proactively, prepare for 1:1s with real insights, and spot reps who need help before pipeline numbers suffer.
Sales managers have always faced a visibility problem: you know which reps are hitting quota, but you don't always know why certain reps struggle - or what to do about it until it's too late.
Today we're launching the Team Analytics Dashboard, giving managers a clear, data-driven view into their team's practice activity and skill development.
What You Can See
The dashboard is built around four core views:
1. Practice Activity
See which reps are practicing and how often. You'll get a team-wide activity feed showing:
- Total practice sessions per rep, per week or month
- Time spent practicing broken down by scenario type
- Practice streaks - which reps are building a consistent habit
This isn't about surveillance. It's about knowing who's putting in the work so you can reinforce it - and spotting reps who might need a nudge before they fall behind.
2. Scenario Breakdown
Not all practice is equal. The scenario breakdown shows you what each rep is practicing:
- Discovery calls vs. objection handling vs. closing
- Cold calls vs. warm leads vs. renewal conversations
- Which specific objections they're drilling
If your team just launched a new product and nobody is practicing the new talk track, you'll see that immediately.
3. Skill Trends Over Time
This is where the dashboard gets powerful. Every practice session in RolePractice.ai generates skill scores across key dimensions - discovery depth, objection handling, active listening, closing technique, and more.
The skill trends view plots these scores over time, so you can see:
- Which skills are improving across the team
- Which skills have plateaued and may need targeted coaching
- Individual rep trajectories - is a struggling rep trending up or flat?
Instead of waiting for pipeline results to tell you something is wrong, you can see skill gaps forming in real time.
4. Team Gaps Analysis
The gaps view aggregates skill data across your entire team and highlights where the team is collectively weakest. If eight out of ten reps score low on handling pricing objections, that's not a coaching problem - it's a training problem. You might need a new talk track, a team workshop, or a dedicated practice drill.
The gaps analysis turns individual data into team-level insight.
How Managers Are Using It
Early access managers have been using the dashboard in a few key ways:
- Weekly 1:1 prep. Pull up a rep's skill trends before your coaching session. Instead of asking "how's it going?" you can say "your discovery scores jumped last week - what changed?"
- Onboarding tracking. Monitor new hire practice volume and skill progression during their first 90 days. Intervene early if someone is falling behind.
- Pre-QBR diagnostics. Before a quarterly business review, check which skills are lagging team-wide and build your enablement plan around real data.
Privacy and Trust
An important note: the dashboard shows aggregate scores and trends, not call recordings or transcripts of practice sessions. Reps need psychological safety to practice openly - including trying new approaches that might not work. The dashboard gives managers the signal they need without compromising the safe practice environment.
Availability
The Team Analytics Dashboard is available now for all Team plan accounts and above. If you're on an individual plan, you can still see your own skill trends in your personal dashboard.
